Position Overview:

As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation process of solar panel systems for residential and commercial properties throughout Florida. Working under the supervision of our experienced team leads, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe installation of solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy while developing valuable skills in the solar industry.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-Installation Preparation: Assist in preparing the job site by reviewing project plans, gathering necessary materials, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Installation: Perform the physical installation of solar panels, mounting hardware, and electrical components according to established guidelines and specifications.
• Electrical Wiring: Assist in the wiring and connection of solar panels to inverters, meters, and electrical systems while adhering to local electrical codes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of installed components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and participating in safety training programs.
• Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, including installation reports, work orders, and safety documentation, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers during the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns professionally and courteously.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, including project managers, electricians, and other installers, to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in construction, roofing, electrical work, or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training or certifications in solar energy or electrical systems is a plus.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work at heights while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to follow instructions accurately and pay close attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to different job sites as needed.
